Base Salary
$135k - $200k/yr
Responsibilities
- Drive Palantir’s infrastructure strategy while addressing the needs of a diverse customer base
- Build APIs for internal and external software developers to interact with network infrastructure
- Use Kubernetes networking primitives and the broader Kubernetes open-source ecosystem
- Develop and champion a long-term roadmap that reduces operational burden, improves scalability, reduces risk, and delivers transformative impact
- Operate network infrastructure supporting north-south and east-west traffic across hundreds of zero-trust Kubernetes clusters
Requirements
- At least 3 years of professional software development experience
- At least 1 year contributing to system design or architecture for new or existing systems, including design patterns, reliability, and scaling
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience
- Deep familiarity with Kubernetes and its broader software ecosystem
- Working knowledge of networking fundamentals; experience with CNIs or cloud networking infrastructure is preferred
- Experience designing, building, and operating high-scale observability or infrastructure systems
- Strong coding skills in Go, Java, or an equivalent language
- Clear verbal and written communication skills and the ability to engage stakeholders and deliver against business needs
