Base Salary
$129k - $175k/yr
Responsibilities
- Provide technical leadership to a team responsible for the Ops Automation Platform.
- Develop frontend software using JavaScript, TypeScript, HTML5, CSS, React, Angular, Vue.js, Redux, Vuex, Webpack, and Babel.
- Develop backend software using Golang, Python, Gin, Go modules, pip, Go testing, and Pytest.
- Perform container orchestration with Kubernetes and Docker.
- Work with AWS, Azure, and GCP cloud platforms and AWS services including EC2, S3, RDS, Lambda, IAM, and VPC.
- Design and manage CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins, GitHub, and ArgoCD.
- Manage large-scale clusters using Ansible and Terraform.
- Monitor and manage services using Prometheus and Grafana.
- Support applications under development, customize existing applications, and assist with software updates and releases.
- Analyze, test, and assist with integrating new applications.
- Document development activity and prepare technical requirements, designs, evaluation plans, test results, manuals, recommendations, and reports.
- Collaborate with stakeholders on product and technical requirements and determine integration needs.
- Work with Quality Assurance to assess application compliance with specifications and technical requirements.
- Monitor competitive applications and products, review relevant literature and patents, and mentor junior-level engineers.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field.
- Five years of experience developing backend software using Golang, Python, Gin, Go modules, pip, Go testing, and Pytest; performing container orchestration with Kubernetes and Docker; working with AWS; using AWS services including EC2, S3, RDS, Lambda, IAM, and VPC; designing and managing pipelines using Jenkins and GitHub; and managing large-scale clusters using Ansible and Terraform.
- Three of the required years must include frontend development using JavaScript, TypeScript, HTML5, CSS, React, Angular, Vue.js, Redux, Vuex, Webpack, and Babel.
- One of the required years must include monitoring and managing services using Prometheus and Grafana.
