Base Salary
$180k - $390k/yr
Responsibilities
- Design and build production-grade AI agents for federal and state government institutions.
- Work directly with public servants and institutions to understand workflows, urgent needs, and opportunities for impact.
- Help build Sierra’s public-sector team, including its capture motion, market strategy, and scalable product components.
- Prototype tools and features and collaborate with research, product, and platform teams to evolve the AI agent platform.
Requirements
- Full-stack software development skills and familiarity with AI development processes.
- Passion for public-sector work and confidence in the ability of public institutions to improve constituent outcomes.
- Comfort working directly with customers to understand needs and solve real-world problems.
- Preferred experience building conversational or long-horizon agents with proprietary or open-source frameworks.
- Preferred experience working in ambiguous environments such as founding teams, new enterprise initiatives, or forward-deployed engineering.
- Preferred understanding of government procurement, regulation, and partnership models.
