Responsibilities
- Design, build, and maintain CI/CD pipelines across HackerRank development and production environments.
- Automate scalable and reproducible infrastructure using Terraform, Docker, and Kubernetes on EKS.
- Promote DevOps practices, CI/CD hygiene, observability, developer productivity, and cost-efficient architectures across engineering teams.
- Implement monitoring, alerting, and incident response systems using OpsGenie, New Relic, and ELK.
- Optimize the performance and utilization of Redis, RDS, Redshift, Elasticsearch, and Kafka.
- Partner with security and platform teams on cloud compliance, resilience, and threat protection.
- Contribute to cloud cost optimization and infrastructure efficiency initiatives.
Requirements
- At least 3 years of experience in DevOps, SRE, or cloud infrastructure engineering roles.
- Deep AWS expertise, including EKS, EC2, S3, SQS, and IAM, with ideally some GCP exposure.
- Strong experience with Terraform, Docker, Kubernetes, and Linux, specifically Ubuntu.
- Hands-on scripting or coding skills in Python or Java.
- Knowledge of monitoring, alerting, and performance tuning principles.
- Strong collaboration skills for partnering with developers, QA, and leadership.
- Preferred experience with ArgoCD, Jenkins, or other CI/CD orchestration tools.
- Preferred background in security engineering, threat modeling, or penetration testing.
- Preferred knowledge of observability frameworks and APM tools including New Relic, Prometheus, and Grafana.
- Preferred experience optimizing costs and scaling infrastructure for high-traffic systems.
- Preferred experience with multi-cloud or hybrid environments.
