Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain Terraform-based Infrastructure as Code for AWS resources.
- Create Ansible playbooks and roles for configuration management and system provisioning.
- Build and maintain Jenkins CI/CD pipelines integrated with GitHub.
- Configure, administer, and troubleshoot Kubernetes and Amazon EKS environments.
- Deploy applications using Helm, Kustomize, and GitOps practices.
- Manage Docker containerization, image optimization, registries, and deployment workflows.
- Implement rolling, blue-green, and canary deployment strategies with rollback procedures.
- Configure monitoring, logging, alerting, and observability across cloud and container platforms.
- Support infrastructure scaling, performance optimization, production incidents, root cause analysis, and preventive actions.
- Implement IAM governance, secrets management, vulnerability remediation, compliance controls, disaster recovery, and platform upgrades.
- Collaborate with development, architecture, security, and operations teams and maintain technical documentation and operational runbooks.
Requirements
- At least 3 years of experience is required; the additional information seeks 5+ years of relevant experience in Kubernetes, AWS, DevOps, CI/CD, and infrastructure automation.
- 15 years of full-time education is required.
- Proficiency administering and deploying Kubernetes and Amazon EKS.
- Strong experience with DevOps and platform engineering practices.
- Hands-on Terraform experience, including module development, state management, and infrastructure provisioning.
- Strong Ansible experience, including playbooks, roles, dynamic inventory, and configuration management.
- Experience designing and managing Jenkins CI/CD pipelines and GitHub repositories and workflows.
- Hands-on Docker containerization and image lifecycle management experience.
- Strong AWS experience with VPC, IAM, EC2, Auto Scaling, EKS, ECR, S3, CloudWatch, and managed data services.
- Experience with Helm, Kustomize, Kubernetes deployment automation, Linux administration, Bash, and Python.
- Experience troubleshooting Kubernetes clusters, workloads, networking, application deployments, and production systems.
- Preferred experience includes Argo CD, Flux, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI/CD, Kubernetes ecosystem tools, observability platforms, Infrastructure as Code security tools, AWS Systems Manager, service meshes, multi-region architectures, disaster recovery, capacity planning, FinOps, ServiceNow, and IT Service Management.
- AWS, Kubernetes, Terraform, or DevOps certifications are advantageous.
