Responsibilities
- Design, develop, execute, debug, and maintain secure, scalable software solutions and production code.
- Create architecture and design artifacts for complex applications and ensure implementation meets design constraints.
- Use enterprise-authorized AI-assisted development and automation tools for code generation, refactoring, testing, troubleshooting, and documentation, while validating outputs.
- Analyze large and diverse datasets, create visualizations and reporting, and use insights to improve software applications, coding hygiene, and system architecture.
- Contribute to software development lifecycle practices, application resiliency, security, and broader team effectiveness.
Requirements
- Formal training or certification in software engineering concepts and 3+ years of applied experience.
- Hands-on experience with system design, application development, testing, and operational stability.
- Experience developing, debugging, and maintaining code in a large corporate environment using modern programming and database querying languages.
- Hands-on experience with enterprise-authorized AI-assisted software development tools and the ability to evaluate, validate, and refine generated outputs.
- Understanding of responsible AI use, data sensitivity, secure input and output handling, resiliency, and security expectations.
- Overall knowledge of the Software Development Life Cycle and agile engineering practices.
- AWS certifications and working knowledge of Terraform or other infrastructure-as-code technologies are preferred.
