Responsibilities
- Validate Web GUI and REST API features in Mist Cloud and help improve system robustness.
- Create defect and enhancement tickets and collaborate with engineering teams on resolution.
- Support releases through staging smoke testing and production sanity testing.
- Execute and automate regression test cases.
- Recreate customer issues and work with engineering teams to drive resolution.
- Review customer-reported defects with Customer Success and enhance test coverage.
- Escalate critical issues in a timely manner.
- Create technical documentation for Customer Success and QA teams in Confluence.
- Manage multiple projects and work independently and collaboratively under pressure.
Requirements
- 7–10 years of related experience.
- BE, ME, or MS in Computer Science or a related discipline.
- Strong programming fundamentals and proficiency in programming languages such as Python.
- Hands-on experience with basic UI and API troubleshooting.
- Experience writing regression test cases.
- Basic knowledge of JSON and Django RESTful API.
- Prior automation experience with Selenium and Pytest.
- Knowledge of networking-related technologies.
- Strong written communication, collaboration, problem-solving, interpersonal, project-status, and risk-identification skills.
