Responsibilities
- Complete the Solutions Engineering Academy bootcamp covering product knowledge, sales methodologies, and demonstrations.
- Shadow and support the Commercial sales team during discovery calls, technical discussions, and the broader sales cycle.
- Deliver practice demonstrations, technical presentations, and mock proposals explaining Motive’s product value and functionality.
- Develop expertise in Motive’s IoT hardware, cloud-based data aggregation, and AI/ML features.
- Match customer pain points and requirements to proposed solutions and explain business benefits and foundational ROI.
- Collaborate with Product, Engineering, Customer Success, and Sales as a technical liaison and provide field feedback on product releases.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree required.
- 0–1 years of professional experience; internship experience in pre-sales, technical support, or customer-facing work is a significant plus.
- Ability and desire to learn complex SaaS and hardware solutions, including how AI/ML models and IoT devices operate in real-world environments.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills for explaining complex technical concepts clearly.
- Analytical and problem-solving ability to understand customer challenges and propose effective technical solutions.
- Ability to connect technical features to tangible business outcomes and value.
- Interest in the transportation and logistics industry is beneficial.
