Responsibilities
- Lead client workshops, discovery sessions, stakeholder interviews, requirements gathering, and solution strategy discussions.
- Translate business requirements into scalable technology architectures, implementation strategies, technology roadmaps, and digital transformation plans.
- Own solution architecture and design for enterprise information architectures, Common Data Environments, data management frameworks, and integrated enterprise systems.
- Design data models, integration strategies, governance frameworks, technical standards, and scalable design patterns.
- Provide technical leadership to analysts, developers, project teams, and multidisciplinary business, engineering, GIS, and technology stakeholders.
- Guide data migrations, system integrations, automation workflows, reporting platforms, and enterprise application implementations.
- Collaborate on APIs, data pipelines, dashboards, automation solutions, and enterprise applications.
- Evaluate processes and emerging technologies to improve automation, data maturity, governance, reporting, and operational effectiveness.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Management Information Systems, Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, GIS, Data Analytics, Business Technology, or a related field.
- At least 5 years of experience in technology consulting, digital transformation, enterprise systems, GIS, data strategy, business intelligence, application development, or related disciplines.
- Experience leading client-facing discussions and translating business requirements into technology solutions.
- Experience designing or implementing integrations between enterprise platforms.
- Working knowledge of SQL, data modeling, reporting, and analytics solutions.
- Experience with one or more enterprise technology platforms such as Esri, Power BI, Tableau, asset management systems, ERP platforms, CRM systems, or cloud environments.
- Preferred experience supporting public-sector, transportation, utilities, public works, engineering, or infrastructure organizations.
- Preferred familiarity with asset management, asset intelligence, digital twins, IoT, artificial intelligence, machine learning, advanced analytics, technology master plans, data strategies, digital transformation roadmaps, multidisciplinary project leadership, or relevant industry certifications.
