Responsibilities
- Design, build, and maintain the trading risk platform.
- Develop systems for trade capture, position management, profit/loss computation, inventory and locate management, and internal order routing.
- Process, propagate, and store rapidly changing trading datasets efficiently.
- Contribute to the platform’s new service-oriented architecture.
- Optimize software for performance, resilience, and high-volume live and historical data processing.
- Collaborate with a global engineering team.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related subject.
- At least 4 years of C++ development experience on Linux.
- Knowledge of data structures and algorithms.
- Strong communication skills and ability to work as part of a team.
- Preferred: experience with scalable large-scale, distributed, or service-oriented systems.
- Preferred: experience optimizing code for high-performance applications.
- Preferred: experience with messaging systems such as Kafka, AMPS, or QPID.
- Preferred: experience with Python, Bash, and/or Q/KDB.
