Base Salary
$220k - $230k/yr
Responsibilities
- Set up transfers of data feeds from source systems into locations accessible to the platform.
- Debug delayed or missing data feeds and monitor and troubleshoot build problems.
- Write transformations and derive datasets using Spark for distributed computation.
- Design applications addressing operational questions through the platform’s application development framework.
- Conduct rapid development, testing, and troubleshooting cycles with subject-matter experts and users.
- Execute requests for information about the platform’s data footprint.
- Collaborate with product teams to understand and debug code supporting the core platform.
- Provide customer communications, feedback gathering, execution updates, and troubleshooting.
Requirements
- Active Secret security clearance.
- U.S. citizenship.
- Strong engineering background, preferably in Computer Science, Mathematics, Software Engineering, Physics, or Data Science.
- Proficiency with Python, including PySpark and Pandas, SQL, R, or similar programming languages.
- Strong understanding of algorithms and data structures as applied to development and problem solving.
- Ability to work with technical and non-technical team members in a rapidly changing environment.
- Ability to learn continuously, work independently, and make decisions with minimal supervision.
- Proven customer communication and troubleshooting experience.
