Base Salary

Responsibilities
- Design, develop, test, deploy, and maintain full-stack applications using Java microservices and Angular frontends.
- Architect modular services for high-volume billing calculations and develop operational dashboards with strong usability, state management, and performance.
- Design relational database schemas, complex SQL queries, stored procedures, indexes, and views while optimizing query and API performance.
- Own delivery from requirements analysis and technical design through implementation, automated testing, deployment, and post-release support.
- Implement unit, integration, and end-to-end testing and promote test-driven development.
- Integrate code analysis, vulnerability scanning, automated builds, and deployments into enterprise CI/CD pipelines.
- Support modernization through Docker, OpenShift/Kubernetes, and cloud-ready architecture initiatives.
- Diagnose production issues with support and DevOps teams, perform root-cause analysis, and implement preventive fixes.
- Implement monitoring, alerting, health checks, and structured logging to maintain high availability.
- Collaborate with cross-functional and geographically distributed Agile/Scrum teams.
Requirements
- 5–8 years of professional hands-on software development experience building enterprise-scale distributed systems.
- Professional experience in Financial Services is required.
- In-depth knowledge of Core Java, JVM internals, concurrency, multithreading, Spring Framework, Spring Boot, and RESTful API architecture.
- Strong proficiency with Angular, TypeScript, HTML5, CSS3, responsive UI design, and single-page application architecture.
- Extensive relational database experience with Oracle, PostgreSQL, MS SQL, or Sybase, including query tuning, schema design, and transaction management.
- Practical experience with microservices, REST/JSON APIs, and messaging or event streaming technologies such as Apache Kafka, RabbitMQ, or JMS.
- Experience with unit testing and mocking frameworks such as JUnit, Mockito, Jasmine, Karma, or Jest.
- Familiarity with Git/Bitbucket, Maven/Gradle, Jenkins, Docker, and deployment automation tools.
- Bachelor’s or master’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Technology, or a related quantitative field, or equivalent practical experience.
- Preferred experience includes hedge fund operations, fund administration, institutional billing, asset management, or capital markets.
- Preferred familiarity with Red Hat OpenShift, Hibernate/JPA, and Spring Batch.
- Strong ownership, problem-solving, communication, collaboration, and Agile/Scrum abilities.
