Responsibilities
- Develop automation machine software applications for machine control, robot control, and vision inspection systems.
- Install and commission control systems, including qualification and validation activities.
- Assist with circuit design for machine control in full-line automation systems.
- Manage automation projects or project submodules.
- Set up machines, troubleshoot technical issues, and provide overseas field support when required.
- Communicate project progress and critical issues to management, vendors, and stakeholders.
- Resolve issues involving equipment, processes, and materials in a timely and effective manner.
Requirements
- Experience or ability to develop automation machine software applications involving machine control, robot control, and vision inspection.
- Ability to support control-system installation, commissioning, qualification, validation, machine setup, and troubleshooting.
- Ability to assist with machine-control circuit design and manage automation project work.
- Willingness to travel overseas for field support.
- High-performance vision-algorithm development experience is an added advantage.
