Responsibilities
- Manage and optimize Azure cloud infrastructure and production SaaS environments for availability and reliability.
- Monitor and support microservices, applications, databases, Kubernetes, and cloud infrastructure.
- Design and implement scalable, highly available, resilient, and multi-region cloud solutions.
- Perform troubleshooting, incident response, root-cause analysis, patching, upgrades, performance optimization, and outage management.
- Develop monitoring, alerting, and Grafana dashboards using Prometheus, Azure Monitor, AppDynamics, or similar tools.
- Automate operational processes with Python, Bash, PowerShell, Terraform, and Ansible.
- Deploy and manage Docker and Kubernetes environments, including AKS, OpenShift, and Rancher.
- Support Java, Spring, and Spring Boot microservices and relational or NoSQL databases.
- Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins, Azure DevOps, or equivalent tools.
- Participate in on-call support, customer onboarding and offboarding, production deployments, and architecture and system design reviews.
- Collaborate with Engineering, Development, Support, Security, IAM, and Cloud teams to resolve customer and production issues.
Requirements
- Experience operating Azure cloud infrastructure and production SaaS environments.
- Experience with microservices, applications, databases, Kubernetes, and cloud infrastructure.
- Knowledge of Python, Bash, PowerShell, Terraform, and Ansible for operational automation.
- Experience with Docker and Kubernetes environments such as AKS, OpenShift, or Rancher.
- Experience supporting Java, Spring, and Spring Boot-based microservices and relational or NoSQL databases.
- Experience developing and maintaining CI/CD pipelines with Jenkins, Azure DevOps, or equivalent tools.
- Experience with monitoring and observability tools including Prometheus, Grafana, Azure Monitor, or AppDynamics.
- Ability to perform incident response, root-cause analysis, patching, upgrades, performance optimization, and on-call support.
- Ability to collaborate across engineering, development, support, security, IAM, and cloud teams.
