Base Salary
$150k - $250k/yr
Responsibilities
- Design and own the core domain model for patients, providers, credentials, authorizations, sessions, claims, and payments.
- Implement testable and enforceable money invariants covering rate calculations, payout conditions, and payroll logic.
- Design lifecycle state machines with explicit states and valid transitions for patients, claims, authorizations, and credentials.
- Develop schema migration strategies and evolve production data models safely.
- Build reliable, auditable, and safe AI infrastructure for LLM-powered clinical workflows.
- Own access controls, audit logging, encryption, and the platform’s technical security posture for systems handling PHI.
- Deploy, monitor, and support production systems, including responding to incidents.
Requirements
- At least 4 years of experience in a domain where correctness matters, such as fintech, insurance, healthcare, or logistics.
- Ability to make difficult technical decisions and own systems from design through production.
- Experience designing data models, enforcing business rules, managing schema evolution, and building reliable production software.
- Experience shipping LLM features in production, including RAG, evaluations, or guardrails, is a bonus.
- Experience with event sourcing, ledger architectures, or healthcare/EHR systems is a bonus.
