Base Salary
$150k - $180k/yr
Responsibilities
- Map workflows across business teams, estimate time savings, and maintain a prioritized AI opportunity backlog with the AI Lead.
- Build and ship event-driven autonomous agents with orchestration loops, sub-agent handoffs, escalation logic, persistent memory, custom tools, traces, and evaluations.
- Define success metrics, measure adoption and time saved, and report the impact of AI projects to leadership.
- Own production reliability, latency, cost, regression detection, access controls, audit trails, and sensitive-data handling for deployed systems.
- Architect shared AI foundations including knowledge bases, application databases, templates, tools, and connectors.
- Enable employees through training, office hours, hackathons, and a network of AI champions.
- Evaluate new models and tools and improve existing systems over time.
Requirements
- 2–5 years of experience in operations, product, solutions or forward-deployed engineering, internal tools, or a similar role at a fast-moving company.
- Demonstrated experience shipping AI workflows or automations that people use daily.
- Hands-on fluency with Claude Code, Cursor, or similar coding agents, along with prompt design, tool use, and MCP.
- Experience building at least one agent with persistent memory or a feedback loop.
- Experience creating evaluation test sets, scoring outputs, and using results to improve agents.
- Ability to write and read SQL plus Python or TypeScript scripts, APIs, and webhooks.
- Clear communication skills with non-technical teammates and the ability to teach as well as build.
- High agency in identifying and fixing inefficient processes.
- Preferred: software engineering background; experience with MCP servers or APIs for Salesforce, Notion, Slack, and Gmail; AI guardrails or monitoring experience; fintech, payments, regulated-industry, startup, or AI-native company experience.
