Base Salary
$150k - $180k/yr
Responsibilities
- Map team workflows, estimate potential time savings, and prioritize AI automation opportunities.
- Build and deploy autonomous, event-driven agents with orchestration, sub-agent handoffs, human escalation, persistent memory, and custom tools.
- Create traces, test sets, and evaluations to measure and improve agent performance over time.
- Own production reliability, latency, cost, regression detection, access controls, audit trails, and sensitive-data handling in partnership with Security and IT.
- Architect shared AI foundations including knowledge bases, application databases, templates, tools, and connectors.
- Measure adoption, operating efficiency, and hours saved, and report results to leadership.
- Train employees through workshops, office hours, hackathons, and AI champion programs.
- Evaluate new AI models and tools against the existing stack.
Requirements
- 2–5 years of experience in operations, product, solutions or forward-deployed engineering, internal tools, or a similar role at a fast-moving company.
- Demonstrated experience shipping AI workflows or automations that people use daily.
- Hands-on fluency with Claude Code, Cursor, or similar coding agents, plus LLM tooling such as prompt design, tool use, and MCP.
- Experience building at least one agent with persistent memory or a feedback loop that improved it over time.
- Experience building test sets, scoring outputs, and using evaluation results to improve agents.
- Ability to write and read SQL plus Python or TypeScript scripts, APIs, and webhooks.
- Clear communication and teaching ability with non-technical teammates.
- High agency in identifying and fixing inefficient processes.
- Preferred: software engineering background; experience with MCP servers or APIs for Salesforce, Notion, Slack, or Gmail; AI guardrails or monitoring experience; fintech, payments, or regulated-industry experience; and startup or AI-native company experience.
