Responsibilities
- Define and maintain AI security reference architectures, design patterns, standards, governance frameworks, guardrails, and risk management practices.
- Ensure secure use of generative AI, large language models, and third-party AI services through policies, technical controls, and architectural reviews.
- Develop AI and machine learning use cases, including AgenticAI initiatives, for security and cloud operations.
- Conduct AI-specific threat modeling and risk assessments covering data poisoning, adversarial attacks, model theft, prompt injection, and unauthorized model usage.
- Define mitigations and compensating controls across cloud, application, API, and data layers.
- Design monitoring and logging with detection and response teams for AI systems.
- Review and approve AI solution designs for security, privacy, and resilience alignment.
- Design controls for secure data pipelines, model storage, model access, and inference endpoints.
- Guide development teams on secure coding, API security, identity and access management, and secrets management for AI workloads.
- Partner with legal, privacy, and compliance teams on audits, risk reviews, control assessments, and responsible AI standards.
- Provide executive-level guidance on AI security risks and mentor engineers and architects on AI security practices and emerging threats.
- Lead multidisciplinary teams and coordinate strategy, resources, and goals across related programs and projects.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in business, computer science, information systems, or a related discipline, or equivalent and extensive related project experience.
- At least 7 years of progressive experience as an architect.
- At least 3 years of experience in artificial intelligence and generative AI.
- At least 5 years of business or IT experience involving strategy formulation or translation, business analytics, program management, application development, middleware, database management, or operations.
- Expert-level experience in strategic planning, leadership, business relationship management, business process management, business transformation, process redesign, and organizational change management is preferred.
- Expert-level knowledge of business and operating models, emerging technologies, business process design, workflow, integration methods, and organizational structures is preferred.
- Expert-level experience leading high-performance multidisciplinary teams and program management efforts is preferred.
- Expert-level analytical, conceptual, communication, facilitation, influence, and problem-solving skills are preferred.
- Knowledge of finance, accounting, valuation, metrics development, and statistical or information analysis is a plus.
- Ability to remain technology- and vendor-neutral, build business partner trust, and adapt emerging technology to business needs.
