Responsibilities
- Improve CI/CD pipelines and build, test, and deployment processes.
- Troubleshoot pipeline and build issues to help unblock engineering squads.
- Integrate and automate testing across the platform.
- Improve release processes and support reliable code integration, testing, and deployment.
- Support task breakdown, effort estimation, and iterative delivery across teams.
- Support monitoring, performance, and security requirements across development teams.
- Identify opportunities to reduce manual effort through automation and DevOps practices.
- Share knowledge, provide feedback, and support more junior engineers.
Requirements
- Working knowledge of DevOps practices and CI/CD pipelines with hands-on experience using relevant tools.
- Experience with AWS services including Lambda, DynamoDB, S3, and IAM.
- Understanding of serverless architecture and infrastructure-as-code such as Terraform.
- Comfort working in Agile environments, including Scrum or Kanban delivery practices.
- Experience with TDD, BDD, and automated testing across build and deployment pipelines.
- Strong problem-solving, collaboration, independent working, communication, and continuous-improvement skills.
- Ability to mentor others and support team capability uplift.
