Senior Software Engineer - Message Security Detection

Responsibilities
- Design and maintain high-throughput, low-latency detection systems and backend services.
- Lead development and optimization of distributed data pipelines using Spark and Airflow.
- Define technical roadmaps, mentor junior and mid-level engineers, and drive code quality and system design practices.
- Lead AI productivity initiatives using Claude, OpenAI, and GitHub Copilot to accelerate development and automate internal workflows.
- Collaborate with TPMs, Product Managers, Data Scientists, and Security Researchers on scalable technical solutions.
- Manage and optimize cloud-native infrastructure on AWS and EKS for cost, security, and performance.
- Perform performance debugging, benchmarking, and bottleneck resolution in large-scale systems.
Requirements
- 8+ years of professional experience in production-level backend development with Python or Golang.
- Expertise building and optimizing distributed data pipelines with Spark and Airflow or equivalent orchestration tools.
- Extensive experience scaling cloud-native applications on AWS, GCP, or Azure, including hands-on container orchestration with EKS.
- Experience leading technical projects, mentoring engineers, and contributing to long-term technical strategy.
- Strong system design skills for complex integrations and significant throughput and latency requirements.
- Strong experience with Postgres or comparable relational databases at scale.
- BS in Computer Science, Applied Sciences, or a related engineering field.
- Familiarity with React and TypeScript is preferred.
- Experience with Databricks, Snowflake, or similar data lakehouse architectures is preferred.
- Background in threat detection, network security, or fraud prevention is preferred.
- An MS in Computer Science or Electrical Engineering is preferred.
