Base Salary
$182k - $254k/yr
Responsibilities
- Lead technical work across the software development lifecycle, including planning, design, documentation, implementation, testing, deployment, and maintenance.
- Break down user stories into high-value features and technical tasks with the Product Owner.
- Contribute technical vision, architecture, scalable designs, and robust software integrations.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams and stakeholders to develop software systems and platforms.
- Create and maintain requirements, design documents, technical documentation, and API references.
- Mentor software engineers through architecture, design, and code review.
Requirements
- At least 7 years of experience developing and delivering data-driven software products, including web-based services and features.
- Proficiency with ReactJS, TypeScript, GraphQL, FastAPI, SQLAlchemy, Pandas, and NumPy.
- Proficiency with Git, GitLab, Docker, Kubernetes, AWS, and Artifactory.
- Proficiency with Datadog and PagerDuty for post-deployment monitoring.
- Experience writing unit, integration, end-to-end, acceptance, and regression tests.
- Demonstrated ability to build complex features and architectures from scratch.
- Strong written, verbal, interpersonal, and complex-systems communication skills.
- Desired qualifications include a BA/BS in computer science, information science, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
- Knowledge of object-oriented design, domain-driven design, role-based access controls, security methodologies, ETL pipelines, data ingestion, AWS services, Terraform, Model-Based Systems Engineering, or relevant aerospace experience is preferred.
