Base Salary

$99k - $207k/yr

Responsibilities

  • Design and develop software for a cloud-based RF simulation environment that meets performance, scalability, reliability, and other functional and non-functional requirements.
  • Deploy and maintain systems using Linux, Docker, Kubernetes, Helm, ArgoCD, and Git best practices.
  • Evaluate and integrate technologies to improve software component and virtual interface performance and efficiency.
  • Define and enforce technical standards for cloud software and infrastructure.
  • Integrate simulation tools to support RF simulation creation.
  • Document software architectures, design decisions, and technical standards.
  • Collaborate with RF hardware engineers, system designers, stakeholders, and program executive leadership while communicating risks and opportunities.

Requirements

  • U.S. citizenship and an active Top Secret clearance with SCI eligibility are required.
  • Seven years of software engineering experience and a bachelor's degree or higher in computer engineering, computer science, or a related field are required.
  • Knowledge of RF technologies, including antenna systems, signal processing, modulation techniques, and wireless communications protocols, is required.
  • Hands-on experience supporting systems of similar scope and complexity is required.
  • At least three years of experience with AWS, Docker, Kubernetes, Helm, Java, Spring Boot, Kafka, ActiveMQ, MongoDB, and Elastic Stack or similar technologies is required.
  • Experience with automated deployment pipelines using GitLab CI/CD, Jenkins, Nexus, Artifactory, or similar tools is required.
  • Experience with cloud infrastructure such as AWS and Kubernetes is required.
  • Desired qualifications include familiarity with MATLAB and Simulink, cloud infrastructure auto-scaling, Linux or Red Hat, and Python programming.
