Base Salary

Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and manage secure virtual and cloud infrastructures.
- Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines using GitLab or comparable tools.
- Implement and manage Kubernetes or similar container orchestration software.
- Automate security best practices and maintain compliance with industry standards.
- Monitor and troubleshoot infrastructure and application performance issues.
- Collaborate with development, operations, and security teams to improve DevSecOps pipelines and operational efficiency.
- Create and maintain documentation for procedures, configurations, and programs.
- Identify constraints, remove bottlenecks, improve processes, and create efficiencies using DevSecOps methodologies.
- Support backup and disaster recovery strategy development and implementation.
Requirements
- U.S. citizenship and a current TS/SCI clearance with Polygraph are required.
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Systems, Cybersecurity, or a related field, or equivalent experience in systems engineering.
- At least 7 years of experience as a Systems Engineer, DevSecOps Engineer, or Infrastructure Engineer supporting classified Department of War or Intelligence Community operations.
- Experience with automated configuration management using Puppet, Ansible, or similar tools within a CI/CD framework.
- Proficiency in PowerShell and Bash scripting for automation, diagnostics, and infrastructure lifecycle management.
- Strong understanding of Risk Management Framework, NIST SP 800-53, CNSSI 1253, and STIG compliance requirements.
- Experience performing vulnerability scanning with ACAS or Nessus and remediating findings for ATO compliance.
- Ability to work effectively in distributed, mission-focused teams and adapt to changing operational priorities.
- Preferred experience includes Docker or Podman, GitLab CI/CD, Jenkins, ArgoCD, classified cloud infrastructure, incident response, disaster recovery, and business continuity planning.
- Relevant certifications such as CompTIA Security+ and an advanced degree in Cybersecurity, Information Systems, or a related field are preferred.
