Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain scalable automated test solutions and reusable frameworks using Python.
- Build automated tests for CLI, UI, API, integration, regression, and end-to-end validation.
- Collaborate with Product Owners, Business Analysts, Developers, and other stakeholders on requirements, test strategies, test cases, planning, estimation, execution, and release activities.
- Perform functional, integration, regression, performance, acceptance, API, and data-validation testing across Linux and Windows environments.
- Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines and support continuous testing and rapid feedback.
- Identify, document, prioritize, and supervise defects through resolution, including root-cause analysis.
- Use test management tools for execution, traceability, reporting, and quality metrics.
- Evaluate and adopt testing tools, frameworks, and engineering practices while supporting or leading continuous improvement initiatives.
- Collaborate effectively with globally distributed teams and support internal technical operations and service management after production release.
Requirements
- Experienced in Quality Engineering, Test Automation, or SDET roles.
- Strong Python programming skills and experience developing reusable automation frameworks.
- Experience implementing BDD practices with Robot Framework and Gherkin/Cucumber.
- Strong understanding of software testing methodologies, test-build techniques, and Quality Engineering principles.
- Hands-on experience integrating automated testing into CI/CD pipelines.
- Proficiency with GitLab, Bitbucket, or Git and experience with TestRail or similar test management platforms.
- Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments and testing applications on Linux and Windows.
- Expertise with cloud-native technologies such as AWS or Azure, and knowledge of Docker and Kubernetes.
- Strong analytical, debugging, problem-solving, communication, and collaboration skills in a global environment.
- Proficiency with networking and TCP/IP.
- Preferred experience with Playwright or Selenium, GitHub Copilot or Claude, Terraform, Bash, application performance testing, API and backend data validation with SQL, and modern DevOps and cloud-native architectures.
- Preferred experience mentoring team members, promoting Quality Engineering standards, and holding relevant Cloud, DevOps, Agile, or Quality Engineering certifications.
