Base Salary
$207k - $300k/yr
Responsibilities
- Define and drive the AI transformation strategy for Cloud SDK Client Libraries and improve external client-library capabilities and internal development pipelines.
- Collaborate with Client Libraries engineering managers and stakeholders to align roadmaps, reduce engineering toil, and standardize AI tooling adoption.
- Architect and implement scalable SDK features and code-generation automation using AI agents and Large Language Models.
- Provide technical mentorship and establish best practices for development involving humans and AI agents.
- Define and monitor measures of quality, reliability, and productivity for AI-driven workflows.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
- Eight years of experience programming in C++, Java, Python, Kotlin, or Go.
- Five years of experience testing and launching software products.
- Three years of experience with software design and architecture.
- Experience integrating generative AI tools or LLM interfaces into workflows.
- Preferred: bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related technical field, or equivalent practical experience.
- Preferred: experience developing Software Development Kits or developer frameworks in modern programming languages such as Python, Go, Java, or TypeScript.
- Preferred: experience architecting system automation, code-generation pipelines, or complex software algorithms.
- Preferred: experience integrating generative AI, Large Language Models, or autonomous AI agents into software engineering workflows.
