Base Salary
$207k - $300k/yr
Responsibilities
- Drive the design and development of GPU accelerator systems from concept through deployment, optimizing hardware and software for data-plane workloads.
- Design features for bare-metal, virtualized, and container-based use cases, including secure in-band telemetry and control daemons bridging host and guest environments.
- Integrate vendor hardware security features into production software pipelines and evaluate architectural challenges across CPU architectures.
- Assess the performance impact of Linux Kernel, virtual machine, container, and networking advances on GPU systems.
- Define the GPU roadmap and collaborate with product teams, external partners, vendors, and standards committees on common architecture.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience.
- Eight years of software development experience.
- Five years of experience testing and launching software products.
- Five years of experience working with embedded operating systems.
- Three years of experience with software design and architecture.
- Experience with system development, device drivers, and kernel programming.
- Preferred: master’s degree or PhD in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related technical field.
- Preferred: eight years of experience with data structures and algorithms.
- Preferred: three years in a technical leadership role leading project teams and setting technical direction.
- Preferred: three years working in a complex, matrixed organization involving cross-functional or cross-business projects.
- Preferred experience with PCI Express, GPU programming, Linux internals, Linux Kernel, virtualization, and C or C++.
