Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and maintain automated test frameworks using Java, Cucumber/BDD, and RestAssured.
  • Build and execute automated tests for APIs, event-driven and queue-based integrations, data layers, and applicable UI workflows.
  • Validate end-to-end post-trade workflows covering settlement, positions, cash, corporate actions, options, margin, asset transfers, cost basis, and tax lots.
  • Automate reconciliation tests between DriveWealth and clearing or custodian platforms, including positions, balances, and transactions.
  • Validate trade confirmations, statements, regulatory reports, migrations, and parallel-run results.
  • Create test plans, scenarios, and regression suites for financial systems.
  • Build and maintain CI/CD test pipelines using Jenkins and GitHub Actions.
  • Perform performance testing, analyze results, troubleshoot defects, and improve test coverage.
  • Collaborate with Engineering, Product, Operations, and Compliance teams on testing strategy and quality improvements.
  • Participate in test reviews, bug triage, and production issue analysis.

Requirements

  • 8+ years of QA experience in financial services, with direct exposure to post-trade, clearing, or back-office platforms.
  • Strong hands-on programming experience in Java.
  • Automation experience with Cucumber/BDD and RestAssured.
  • Experience testing REST APIs and event-driven systems, including Kafka; RabbitMQ or SQS is a plus.
  • Strong SQL and Postgres skills for data validation and reconciliation.
  • Working knowledge of settlement cycles, corporate actions, margin, options lifecycle, and books-and-records requirements.
  • Experience with AWS, Git, and Jenkins.
  • Familiarity with JIRA and test-management tools such as Allure TestOps.
  • Playwright and TypeScript UI automation experience is preferred.
  • Experience with clearing-system conversion or platform migration is preferred.
  • Exposure to FIX protocol, crypto-asset workflows, or Databricks is preferred.
