Responsibilities
- Develop, enhance, and support low-latency trading and matching engine components.
- Design, develop, test, and optimize low-latency trading systems.
- Perform performance tuning, latency analysis, and optimization across application, middleware, and infrastructure layers.
- Build and maintain automated testing frameworks and tools for low-latency and high-throughput systems.
- Implement latency monitoring, benchmarking, and performance measurement capabilities.
- Translate business requirements into reliable technical solutions with engineers, architects, and stakeholders.
- Participate in production support, incident investigation, and continuous improvement activities.
Requirements
- Degree in Computer Science, IT, Engineering, Mathematics, Physics, or a related discipline.
- Typically 6–10 years of software development experience, preferably in low-latency, trading, exchange, financial markets, or high-throughput technology environments.
- Strong C++ programming skills and practical experience with performance-sensitive applications.
- Understanding of low-latency system design, performance tuning, and latency measurement techniques.
- Experience with high-throughput messaging systems, middleware, or event-driven architectures.
- Familiarity with Linux, networking concepts, and multicast/unicast protocols.
- Experience with automated testing, benchmarking, or performance monitoring for complex systems.
- Python or scripting experience for tooling, test automation, or operational support is advantageous.
- Ability to troubleshoot technical issues, analyze performance data, and collaborate with senior technical colleagues.
