Base Salary

Responsibilities
- Simulate articulated truck motion in response to steering, accelerator, and brake inputs.
- Model coupled tractor-and-trailer vehicle dynamics, including nonlinear effects and environmental influences.
- Analyze simulation fidelity by comparing simulated and real-world performance.
- Evaluate controller performance across multidimensional assessments.
- Build a safety case for driverless operation.
Requirements
- At least 4 years of controls development experience for automotive robots.
- Strong C++ programming skills.
- Interest in theoretical and empirical vehicle modeling.
- Facility with mechanical physics and enthusiasm for expanding vehicular simulation fidelity.
- Focus on vehicle safety.
- Experience simulating automotive robots, autonomous vehicles, statistical analysis, or automotive safety cases and standards is preferred.
