Responsibilities
- Design and develop Order Management System features for new initiatives and existing products.
- Build and maintain backend Java services and frontend applications.
- Participate in code reviews, technical discussions, troubleshooting, and engineering best-practice activities.
- Contribute to platform refactoring, performance improvements, testing, and other technology upgrades.
- Make hands-on technical contributions to software development projects.
Requirements
- 5+ years of programming experience with Java and frontend frameworks such as ReactJS, Angular, or Vue.
- Experience with distributed systems or large-scale applications.
- Strong knowledge of software architecture, design patterns, algorithms, and data structures.
- Comfort using AI coding assistance such as Claude.
- Experience with testing frameworks such as JUnit, Vitest, Jest, Mocha, or Playwright.
- Exposure to CI/CD workflows using GitHub Actions or Jenkins, or related automation tools.
- Strong problem-solving and communication skills, with willingness to learn and support team growth.
- Preferred: experience with financial trading applications, particularly OMS, EMS, trading workflows, FIX protocol, or market data integration.
- Preferred: familiarity with multithreaded programming, scalable frontend solutions, and system or technology upgrades.
