Responsibilities
- Code and program new features and enhancements for UEFI firmware.
- Execute established test plans, identify and log issues, and debug assigned portions of code.
- Support UEFI firmware for operating systems and server components such as storage drives, network interfaces, and storage adapters.
- Develop relationships with internal and outsourced development partners on software systems design and development.
- Collaborate with software systems engineers and development partners to deliver reliable, cost-effective, high-quality solutions.
- Determine hardware compatibility and contribute to hardware design decisions.
Requirements
- Bachelor's or master's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or equivalent.
- Typically 0-2 years of experience.
- Experience with or understanding of firmware design tools and languages such as C or assembly.
- Understanding of firmware running on server platforms.
- Understanding of basic testing, coding, and debugging procedures.
- Python and build-script experience are a plus.
- Good analytical, problem-solving, written, and verbal communication skills; mastery of English and the local language.
