Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain nesto’s Salesforce environment.
- Create best practices for Salesforce data architecture, user interface, role design, and business logic.
- Maintain and extend Salesforce integrations with core backend services.
- Write modular, maintainable code and perform design, coding, testing, and debugging.
- Deliver small-scope projects and features independently and collaborate on medium- to large-scale projects.
- Investigate difficult-to-reproduce bugs, identify failure conditions, and test new functionalities.
- Stay current with Salesforce releases and work with Operations leadership to test, execute, and iterate on business processes.
- Provide technical subject-matter expertise, solution design, and mentorship on complex custom Salesforce architecture projects.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field, or equivalent experience.
- At least 8 years of professional software development experience.
- Recent hands-on enterprise Salesforce development experience contributing code in Apex, Lightning Web Components, or Visualforce.
- Experience developing solutions on Salesforce Sales Cloud and Experience Cloud.
- Deep understanding of Salesforce integration patterns.
- Strong judgment on when to use Flows versus Apex and strong Lightning Web Components development experience.
- Salesforce Platform Developer 1 and Platform Developer 2 certifications.
- Comfort with modern application architecture, technical ownership, collaboration, communication, continuous learning, and mentorship.
- Additional development experience outside Salesforce is an asset.
