Responsibilities
- Design, build, test, and maintain modern software applications.
- Develop solutions across multiple layers of an application while applying practices for security, scalability, and performance.
- Contribute to architecture, technical decisions, estimation, product planning, and user story or requirement creation.
- Debug and troubleshoot live applications.
- Mentor junior team members and participate in knowledge-sharing activities with technical and non-technical audiences.
- Balance technical decisions with user needs and commercial constraints.
Requirements
- Proficiency in designing, building, testing, and maintaining modern software applications.
- Experience applying development best practices and patterns related to security, scalability, and performance.
- Experience contributing to technical decisions and direction in a collaborative team environment.
- Experience with design and development across multiple application layers.
- Good communication skills with technical and non-technical audiences.
- Experience with continuous integration and continuous delivery techniques, multiple programming languages, and data storage technologies is desirable.
- Knowledge of public cloud platforms such as AWS and Azure, including SaaS and PaaS offerings, is desirable.
