Base Salary

Responsibilities
- Define and own end-to-end architecture strategy for services, infrastructure, and the developer platform.
- Design scalable, fault-tolerant distributed systems spanning synchronous APIs, asynchronous workflows, and event-driven architectures.
- Design and prototype platform and infrastructure components, write production code, review critical code paths, and resolve performance, scalability, and reliability issues.
- Build a paved-road developer platform with golden paths, internal tooling, self-service infrastructure, CI/CD, reusable primitives, and internal APIs.
- Architect cloud compute, networking, storage, orchestration, deployment, multi-tenancy, observability, and disaster recovery capabilities.
- Support production AI workloads and agentic execution with isolation, resource governance, auditability, and human-in-the-loop controls.
- Prepare systems for enterprise-scale private-markets workloads, integrations, security, compliance, and 10x transaction and data volumes.
- Lead incident-response maturity, capacity planning, load testing, chaos and resilience engineering, and cloud cost optimization.
- Mentor engineers, lead architecture reviews, influence roadmaps, and serve as the executive technical authority for systems architecture and production engineering.
- Provide senior technical support in enterprise sales and onboarding conversations.
Requirements
- Advanced degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- 15+ years of experience in distributed systems, platform engineering, or infrastructure roles.
- Proven experience architecting large-scale, high-availability, multi-tenant distributed systems in production.
- Strong hands-on experience with cloud-native stacks including Kubernetes, containers, service mesh, and serverless technologies.
- Deep expertise in distributed-systems fundamentals and strong systems-level debugging skills.
- Advanced proficiency in Python, Go, Java, or a similar language.
- Experience with infrastructure as code, modern CI/CD, event-driven and streaming architectures, developer platforms, internal tooling, observability, and SRE principles.
- Production-scale experience with AWS, Azure, or GCP and strong knowledge of infrastructure security, multi-tenancy, and compliance.
- Preferred experience includes enterprise SaaS upmarket expansion, private markets or fintech systems, AI/LLM infrastructure, regulated environments, cloud cost optimization, and scaling PostgreSQL or similar relational databases.
- Ability to operate effectively at executive and deeply technical levels.
