Responsibilities
- Design and implement scalable, fault-tolerant, and performant backend systems.
- Design and evolve microservice and event-driven architectures.
- Partner with solution architects, product managers, and technical leads to translate business requirements into scalable systems.
- Contribute to system and API design with emphasis on modularity, performance, and maintainability.
- Drive coding standards and best practices in coding, testing, and documentation.
- Mentor junior engineers, conduct code reviews, and provide technical leadership.
- Ensure service resilience, sustainability, recovery objectives, compliance, and data quality in service management systems.
- Manage delivery to meet business expectations on time and at the expected quality.
Requirements
- 7 to 10 years of professional experience.
- Extensive knowledge of Java, Spring Framework, Spring Boot, and Spring Cloud.
- Deep knowledge of microservice architecture, principles, patterns, and design patterns.
- Expertise designing and developing REST and GraphQL APIs.
- Experience with SQL and NoSQL databases including Oracle, PostgreSQL, MySQL, MongoDB, and Cassandra.
- Experience with at least one middleware technology such as Kafka, IBM MQ, or RabbitMQ.
- Exposure to APM and observability tools including AppDynamics and New Relic.
- Experience implementing security measures and authentication and authorization using JWT, OAuth, and TLS.
- Exposure to DevOps tooling and CI/CD pipeline implementation using Jenkins, GitLab, Kubernetes, and Docker.
