Responsibilities
- Architect and build full-stack features optimized for scalability and performance.
- Leverage AI coding agents in daily workflows while ensuring accountability for correctness.
- Develop internal tooling and testing infrastructure to enhance team delivery.
- Own the testing strategy for both frontend and backend code.
- Design and consume REST and WebSocket APIs.
- Maintain security and compliance standards for government and enterprise clients.
- Contribute to Mattermost's open-source codebase.
Requirements
- Strong full-stack development experience in Go and React or a comparable stack.
- Experience designing and consuming REST and WebSocket APIs.
- Relational database experience including PostgreSQL and query optimization.
- Fluency in directing AI coding agents for various development tasks.
- A bias toward shipping and owning complex software end-to-end.
