Responsibilities
- Develop and integrate AI-powered software capabilities into digital measurement instrument products.
- Deliver reliable, well-tested, maintainable software across the full development lifecycle.
- Work across product features, test automation, evaluation harnesses, and developer tooling.
- Collaborate with senior engineers, Solutions Architecture, R&D project management, product management, QA, validation, and international design teams.
- Improve existing products and contribute to new product offerings.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s or master’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Data Science, or equivalent with strong software engineering skills.
- Typically 4–5 years of relevant software development experience.
- Proficiency in one or more modern programming languages such as C++ or C#.
- Knowledge of software design patterns, testing, and debugging, with the ability to work independently on defined assignments.
- Experience with Git, CI/CD pipeline workflows, and delivering software components into production or product environments.
- Familiarity with AI-powered software concepts such as retrieval-augmented generation and agentic techniques, with a strong desire to learn more.
- Preferred qualifications include experience with Keysight instruments or related measurement and signal-processing domains; instrument, embedded, or real-time software; hardware/software integration; signal-processing pipelines; AI/ML libraries or agentic frameworks; test automation or evaluation tooling; edge or embedded AI/ML deployment; responsible AI and explainability tooling; and Atlassian tools.
- Strong written and verbal communication, teamwork, accountability, self-direction, willingness to learn, and ability to collaborate across US and European teams.
