Base Salary
$134k - $181k/yr
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and implement machine learning models and algorithms to optimize operations and service delivery.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define requirements, assess feasibility, and deliver scalable solutions.
- Lead machine learning projects from ideation through deployment and maintenance.
- Apply best practices for model evaluation, validation, and monitoring.
- Drive innovation and continuous improvement in machine learning applications and processes.
- Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior team members.
- Monitor advancements in machine learning techniques and technologies and recommend improvements.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or a related field; an advanced degree is preferred.
- 3-5 years of experience in software application development and design.
- 3-5 years of experience working with machine learning systems.
- 3-5 years of experience with AWS services including ECR, S3, and SageMaker.
- At least 5 years of experience with Python, Pandas, NumPy, and Scikit-learn.
- Experience building large, complex systems, particularly web services and APIs, and working with continuous integration and delivery.
- Preferred experience with tree-based models, DVC, Airflow, and SQL.
- Understanding of fundamental design principles for scalable applications.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to collaborate with other teams.
