Base Salary

$134k - $181k/yr

Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and implement machine learning models and algorithms to optimize operations and service delivery.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define requirements, assess feasibility, and deliver scalable solutions.
  • Lead machine learning projects from ideation through deployment and maintenance.
  • Apply best practices for model evaluation, validation, and monitoring.
  • Drive innovation and continuous improvement in machine learning applications and processes.
  • Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior team members.
  • Monitor advancements in machine learning techniques and technologies and recommend improvements.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or a related field; an advanced degree is preferred.
  • 3-5 years of experience in software application development and design.
  • 3-5 years of experience working with machine learning systems.
  • 3-5 years of experience with AWS services including ECR, S3, and SageMaker.
  • At least 5 years of experience with Python, Pandas, NumPy, and Scikit-learn.
  • Experience building large, complex systems, particularly web services and APIs, and working with continuous integration and delivery.
  • Preferred experience with tree-based models, DVC, Airflow, and SQL.
  • Understanding of fundamental design principles for scalable applications.
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to collaborate with other teams.
  • Applicants must be currently authorized to work full-time in the United States and must not require employer visa sponsorship.
