Base Salary
$185k - $212k/yr
Responsibilities
- Architect and develop efficient, maintainable, and scalable software applications and services.
- Define architecture for cross-team projects and lead large, complex projects and workstreams from end to end.
- Estimate work and staffing needs, participate in interviews, create and assign project tasks, and support delivery scheduling.
- Identify impacts across modules and distributed systems while managing version-control and multi-branch merge complexity.
- Perform unit and integration testing, identify gaps in testing methodology, and recommend alternative solutions or frameworks.
- Support implementations and help resolve production issues with Business Analysts and Technical Support.
- Mentor junior software engineers and independently deliver complex work amid ambiguity.
Requirements
- Master of Science degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or a directly related field.
- At least 3 years of experience in Golang, Go FX, Thrift, gRPC, Bazel, Message Queues, Grafana, ELK, MySQL, GORM, Go-sqlmock, GoLand, VS Code, and Shell Scripting.
- At least 2 years of experience in Redis, Phabricator, Sourcegraph, Zap logging framework, M3 metrics, YARPC, transportation or logistics environments, and React or AngularJS.
- Experience requirements may be gained concurrently.
