Responsibilities
- Design and develop low-latency solutions using current .NET technologies.
- Build performant, scalable backend services from scratch and improve existing services.
- Write testable, efficient code that complies with specifications.
- Troubleshoot live production and performance issues.
- Develop proof of concepts and present technology alternatives for architectural review.
- Investigate technologies to support continuous platform improvement.
- Mentor engineers and provide technical direction and best practices.
- Participate in code reviews, design sessions, and agile ceremonies.
- Collaborate with team leads, stakeholders, QA partners, and teams across the company.
- Evaluate new technologies that could improve the platform.
Requirements
- At least 5 years of experience building global enterprise-level systems.
- Hands-on experience designing and developing enterprise applications with C#, .NET Core, and .NET 8 or higher.
- Strong knowledge of .NET Core APIs, high-load systems, multithreading, and performance tuning.
- Experience developing distributed systems with event-based microservice architecture.
- Experience with Redpanda and Kafka or similar messaging systems.
- Hands-on experience with Kubernetes and Docker containerization.
- Experience with cloud platforms, preferably Azure.
- Strong knowledge of relational SQL databases and NoSQL databases.
- Knowledge of financial markets or a strong desire to learn.
- Strong communication and cross-team collaboration skills.
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, software engineering, or equivalent professional experience.
