Responsibilities
- Maintain deep technical expertise across Dell’s storage, compute, networking, applications, cybersecurity, converged, hyper-converged, and edge-core-cloud technologies.
- Provide technical guidance to sales teams and develop trusted relationships with customers, partners, account executives, program and project managers, leadership, delivery teams, and security offices.
- Assist customers and sales teams with the design, definition, and implementation of complex system requirements from a support and sustainment perspective.
- Proactively troubleshoot and support customer IT solutions to maximize uptime.
- Manage escalations and collaborate with vendors and Dell Engineering.
Requirements
- Active/current TS/SCI security clearance and U.S. citizenship are required.
- Intimate knowledge of Dell PowerEdge servers, PowerEdge XE servers, and PowerScale storage products is required.
- Strong knowledge of networking infrastructure, Linux environments including RHEL and Ubuntu, infrastructure troubleshooting, and Dell and vendor diagnostic utilities is required.
- Customer-facing experience, effective collaboration skills, escalation-management capability, and the ability to work in a high-pressure environment are required.
- At least 12 years of technical support experience is required.
- A+, Security+, MCITP/MCSE, VCP, RHCSA, or CCNA certifications are desired.
