Responsibilities

  • Create test scenarios from user stories and acceptance criteria.
  • Manage product regression suites, release signoff, and automated test strategies.
  • Develop advanced testing techniques to improve quality and productivity.
  • Write automated tests using state-of-the-art and Eggplant testing tools.
  • Validate AI, OCR, computer vision, API-driven, backend, functional, and non-deterministic behaviors.
  • Debug failed tests, identify root causes, and report issues to the engineering team.
  • Provide input to design and development processes to improve testability, quality, and user experience.
  • Identify and raise bug reports from manual, automated, and regression testing.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s or master’s degree in Computer Engineering or Computer Science.
  • At least six years of experience as a Software Test Automation Engineer focused on automated test scripts.
  • Experience using AI assistants to improve test automation productivity.
  • Strong knowledge of software development life cycles and QA processes.
  • Working knowledge of testing API-driven backend applications.
  • Good programming knowledge and understanding of software engineering principles.
  • Experience with CI/CD and Git.
  • Ability to design and validate tests for non-deterministic AI or OCR behavior.
  • Familiarity with Linux and Windows command-line environments.
  • Experience with GUI-based testing, functional testing, Eggplant Test software, Python, or Pytest is advantageous.
