Responsibilities
- Design, expand, and maintain capabilities for the Eggplant Fusion Engine.
- Develop software with cross-disciplinary team members to deliver product goals on schedule and with high quality.
- Collaborate with the Team Lead and Product Owner to ensure features meet customer needs.
- Integrate products and components to support an exceptional user experience.
- Help select appropriate technologies and development strategies.
- Contribute to product design and development improvements involving testability, quality, and user experience.
- Identify and report software bugs.
Requirements
- Master’s degree in computer science or equivalent experience.
- At least 5 years of experience in a software development role.
- Knowledge of object-oriented programming, design patterns, and coding best practices.
- Strong design and problem-solving skills.
- Strong knowledge of at least one of Objective-C, C, C++, or C#.
- Knowledge of AI, Agile, Lean, and XP development practices.
- Preferred experience with near-real-time image and video processing, computer vision, text detection, and OCR.
- Preferred experience with Large Vision Models, Large Language Models, and agentic development.
- Preferred experience with low-level protocols such as VNC (RFB), VS Code, the Debug Adapter Protocol, Conan, containers, GitHub Actions, GitLab, continuous delivery, and Eggplant Test or other test automation software.
- Preferred experience building commercial off-the-shelf enterprise software.
