Base Salary

Responsibilities
- Compile and optimize neural networks for execution on Qualcomm AI accelerators.
- Analyze model performance, compiler algorithms, runtime efficiency, hardware utilization, and compute or memory bottlenecks.
- Prototype optimization algorithms for high-performance, low-power AI workloads.
- Contribute to Qualcomm’s ML compiler stack and optimize emerging AI workloads and neural network architectures.
- Develop performance models and simulation infrastructure using Python, C, and C++.
- Evaluate current and future Qualcomm AI accelerators and guide hardware and software feature development.
Requirements
- Currently enrolled in a bachelor’s or master’s degree program in computer engineering, computer science, electrical engineering, or a related field.
- At least 1 year of academic experience with programming languages such as C, C++, or Python.
- Proficiency in Python or C++.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, debugging, written communication, and verbal communication skills.
- Preferred qualifications include object-oriented design knowledge, Git, Linux, SSH, algorithms and data structures, and experience with ML frameworks, model optimization, AI architectures, computer architecture, performance modeling, operating systems, or high-performance computing.
