Base Salary

Responsibilities
- Develop software frameworks for Qualcomm’s low-power AI accelerator with the LPAI software engineering team.
- Support software enabling edge AI applications, including always-on vision, speech, and sensing technologies.
- Gain hands-on experience across the machine learning software stack on the Qualcomm platform.
- Handle customer issues and feedback while developing problem-solving and communication skills.
- Collaborate in a diverse engineering team and participate in Qualcomm’s internship development activities.
Requirements
- Be pursuing a bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Engineering Science, Computer Science, or a related field.
- Have excellent programming skills in Python and C/C++.
- Have basic working knowledge of machine learning and at least one year of academic programming experience.
- Have strong math and statistics coursework, problem-solving ability, communication skills, and motivation to learn artificial intelligence.
- Preferred: hands-on ML project experience and working knowledge of RNN, CNN, and Transformer model architectures.
- Preferred: hands-on experience with embedded device programming.
- Be available for a 16-month internship from May or June 2027 through August or September 2028, with an expected graduation date of November 2028 or later.
