Base Salary
$55k - $103k/yr
Responsibilities
- Develop software frameworks for Qualcomm’s low-power AI accelerator.
- Work across the machine learning software stack to support edge AI applications in vision, speech, and sensing.
- Collaborate with the low-power AI software engineering team and learn to address customer issues and feedback.
- Participate in mentorship, professional development workshops, social events, and cross-functional speaker sessions.
Requirements
- Be studying toward a bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Engineering Science, Computer Science, or a related field.
- Have excellent programming skills in Python and C/C++.
- Have basic machine learning knowledge and at least one year of academic programming experience.
- Have strong mathematics and statistics coursework, problem-solving ability, communication skills, and a self-motivated, detail-oriented approach.
- Be available for the 16-month internship from May or June 2027 through August or September 2028 and expect to graduate in November 2028 or later.
- Preferred qualifications include hands-on ML project experience, knowledge of RNN, CNN, and Transformer architectures, and embedded device programming experience.
