Base Salary
$69k - $131k/yr
Responsibilities
- Develop, test, debug, and integrate complex software and systems solutions for aerospace and defense applications.
- Participate in cross-discipline integrated product teams and apply software development techniques and resources.
- Contribute to some or all of a software product as a software team member.
- Potentially lead a small software team.
- Identify and resolve operational, technical, or documentation deficiencies within an engineering environment.
- Meet project milestones while managing competing priorities in a dynamic development or operational environment.
Requirements
- Master’s degree in Science, Technology, Engineering, Mathematics, or a similar technical discipline.
- Experience designing and programming with C++, Java, C#, or another object-oriented language.
- Experience developing and debugging software using object-oriented programming principles and applying common data structures and algorithms.
- Knowledge of data structures, algorithms, memory management, and multithreaded applications.
- Experience using generative AI tools or machine-learning-assisted technologies to accelerate workflows, automate repetitive tasks, improve code quality, or optimize delivery.
- Experience with open systems architecture and modular design, including loosely coupled components, standardized APIs, or modular interfaces.
- U.S. citizenship and ability to obtain an interim U.S. government-issued DoD Secret security clearance before the start date.
- Preferred experience with CI/CD tools, configuration-management tools, data-analysis tools, operating-system environments, and Agile, TDD, or DevOps principles.
- Preferred demonstrated adaptability in learning and applying new programming languages, frameworks, or engineering tools.
