Responsibilities
- Build session, memory, persistence, resumption, hand-over, identity, entitlement, and reasoning-trail capabilities.
- Build retrieval and grounding across structured records and documents while optimizing cost and latency.
- Develop document intelligence for manuals, engineering drawings, certification directives, and contracts with extraction and citation capabilities.
- Build agentic runtimes for multi-step work, tool usage, human escalation, and language interfaces to scheduling and optimization engines.
- Support speech and image inputs alongside text for multimodal customer interactions.
- Build evaluation harnesses that validate AI output quality and autonomy claims before release.
- Build security controls for prompt injection resistance, personal data handling, guardrails, auditing, and data residency.
Requirements
- Hands-on production experience building AI-native products, GenAI solutions, RAG pipelines, hybrid retrieval, embeddings, and agentic systems.
- Experience with Go and Python, or comparable production backend languages.
- Experience with service-to-service integration and orchestration using n8n, Temporal, MuleSoft, Apache Camel, or Boomi.
- Experience building and scaling multi-tenant SaaS solutions on shared infrastructure.
- Experience with Pydantic AI, LangChain, MCP, and plan-based agentic software development.
- Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, CNCF technologies, CI/CD pipelines, and cloud-native infrastructure.
- Experience operating API gateways or API products such as Kong or Tyk in production.
- Experience building agents or LLM systems that take actions against business systems through APIs, records, and workflows.
- Experience building or using evaluation frameworks to validate AI output quality before shipping.
- Preferred experience optimizing AI services for latency and cost and using specification-driven development.
