Base Salary
$143k - $304k/yr
Responsibilities
- Define the architecture and migration path from proprietary tools to .NET Aspire and Azure platform capabilities.
- Translate deployment, compliance, and security requirements into typed APIs, analyzers, and build gates.
- Build production-quality control-plane capabilities with secure defaults, strong testing, clear ownership, and zero-touch deployment where possible.
- Improve service-team workflows through diagnostics, safe upgrade paths, self-service experiences, and adoption-driven improvements.
- Drive technical alignment with .NET, Azure, CISO, security, compliance, and service engineering partners.
- Lead design reviews, incident learning, and reusable engineering practices across teams.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related technical field and 6+ years of technical engineering experience with coding, or equivalent experience.
- Coding experience in one or more of C, C++, C#, Java, JavaScript, or Python.
- Ability to meet Microsoft and applicable customer or government security screening requirements, including the Microsoft Cloud Background Check.
- Preferred: Master's degree and 8+ years of experience, or bachelor's degree and 12+ years of experience, or equivalent experience.
- Preferred: 3+ years of experience building cloud-native applications or platform services on Azure using C# and modern .NET.
- Preferred: experience with policy-as-code, infrastructure-as-code, developer tooling, or deployment systems used by multiple engineering teams.
- Preferred: experience leading technical partnerships across multiple teams such as Azure, .NET, security, compliance, or service engineering.
