Base Salary
$305k - $330k/yr
Responsibilities
- Design and ship context aggregation solutions, MCPs, CLIs, skills, sub-agents, and integrations that provide AI tools with reliable access to company systems.
- Define and stand up autonomous development agents and cloud agent solutions.
- Improve AI-assisted code generation, review, testing, documentation, refactoring, and on-call workflows.
- Build pre-review, triage, and AI-generated-code review standards and tooling.
- Design systems for model selection and AI cost optimization across the organization.
- Scope, design, and deliver developer tooling from initial design through production adoption with minimal oversight.
- Measure developer velocity and collaborate with platform, infrastructure, and application teams.
- Write specifications and documentation and facilitate technical discussions across teams.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
- 5+ years of professional software engineering experience, including recent hands-on experience building with or on top of LLM-based tooling.
- Direct experience integrating AI tools into development workflows such as code review, testing, code generation, or documentation.
- Strong system design skills and experience owning tools or platforms end-to-end.
- Experience designing and consuming APIs, webhooks, or other integration and message-based systems.
- Experience building developer tooling, internal platforms, CI/CD systems, or software primarily used by engineers.
- Java/JVM and/or Python experience is preferred but not required.
- Ability to solve problems pragmatically, troubleshoot complex technical obstacles, operate amid ambiguity, and communicate effectively with engineers and leaders.
