Responsibilities
- Specify and develop toolchain features for existing and new NPU architectures while working with the inference-engine team.
- Enhance, maintain, and support existing toolchain features.
- Modify model network layers for optimal NPU performance in collaboration with application-engineering teams and customers or partners.
- Improve productivity through automation across the development process.
Requirements
- Strong Python class-based product-development skills and knowledge of design patterns.
- Strong understanding of compiler architecture, debugging technologies, code generation, program analysis, and pipeline optimization.
- At least five years of commercial software-development experience, including at least three years in compiler-related areas.
- BS, MS, or PhD in Computer Science or Computer Engineering.
- Good communication, collaboration, task-estimation, and reporting skills, with experience using tools such as Confluence, Git, and JIRA.
- Familiarity with deep-learning compilers such as TVM, PyTorch, Eclipse development for toolchain frontends, and CPU, DSP, GPU, or NPU architectures is preferred.
